The Hingham Land Conservation Trust and the Cushing Pond Preservation Group invite you to explore the eastern shore of Cushing Pond in the Mildred Cushing Woods town conservation area on Saturday, October 10 at 10am.
Our guide will be John Galluzzo, author of many books on history and nature and currently the Director of Education for the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell.
We will gather where the pond is closest to Cushing Street, next to #59 Cushing Street. Please park well off the road in areas where you will not block the sidewalk. The walk will be easy, but Hingham woods are likely to foster ticks, so we suggest appropriate shoes, pants and bug repellent.
