Join the HLCT for guided tours of the Lehner property on April 16 and April 23
At the April Town Meeting, Hingham will have the opportunity to preserve 50 acres of magnificent fields and woods on scenic South Pleasant Street. The purchase of the Lehner property, along with 50 adjoining acres preserved by the Hingham Land Conservation Trust and the Hingham Conservation Commission, will create one hundred (100) acres of contiguous wildlife and watershed protection, and significant passive recreation potential.
In conjunction with the Hingham Open Space Acquisition Committee, the Hingham Land Conservation Trust is sponsoring two tours of the Lehner property on Saturday April 16 and Saturday April 23 both at 10am. The tours will be led by Steve Ivas, wetlands scientist and naturalist, and will start at 72 South Pleasant Street. Rain dates will be the following Sundays at 2 pm. Please check the HLCT website hinghamlandtrust.org for additional information.
